This place is absolutely underrated, It should be way more popular than sushi omakase. The prices are cheaper and the rolls are way better tasting. Staff is amazingly kind and respectful. The ambience and decor is breath taking. Compared to sushi omakase, this place is nearly empty the times I've went, so no long waits at any given time of the day. So if you're craving sushi tonight, instead of going to the multi thousand dollar sushi place down the street, support this family owned business!!
Yum...yum...yum! We ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl & udon & a side of seaweed salad. Not overly sauced, not over cooked...seasoned just perfectly as Goldilocks would say. Try the Rihaku "dreamy clouds" sake, it's light & floral & goes with everything. Hidden gem off 10th Street with exceptional service & relaxing interior.
The Udon soup is delicious...as is everything else...wife had house special roll and it never disappoints Sure glad they came back....YUM

HIDDEN GEM- My family of 7 had dinner here last night. The food was amazing. We ate everything! I was not sure if the woman who assisted us was the owner but she knows her stuff. She made recommendations to all of us and they were spot on. Highly recommend this restaurant. We also loved the decor. Very pleasant and inviting both from the service to the ambience.
We were early diners, the 3 of us...and we were hungry. We should have ordered soup or edamame because the sushi took a minute. BUT when it arrived it was lovely and fresh and delicious. We had the yellow tail lover, the cherry blossom roll and the big kahuna... so yummy. Not over dressed.. very good flavors. The cozy restaurant is very clean, modern and comfy. We'll be back!

Friendly and quick service. The rolls are good and fresh. The menu is limited but the restaurant is neat and clean. Definitely my new favorite place for sushi in Gilroy!
We went in about an hour before closing and the sushi place is absolutely adorable. It's very clean and the ambiance is great. The service was attentive and friendly but the food was even better. I would recommend the lion king, caterpillar, Eagle ridge, and Fantasy. For how late we went into the restaurant the salmon was very fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend this sushi place and I will be putting this on my list to come back time and time again. I can't wait to try everything else on the menu!
They are doing a soft opening right now, open Thursday-Sunday for dinner only. The owner served us dinner. She was incredibly sweet. Her nephew checked on us and made sure we enjoyed everything. He was also very welcoming and friendly. The Sushi was amazing. All the sauces are homemade. We ate everything before I thought to take a picture. We tried: Miso soup Chili Garlic Edamame Karaage Chicken The Stupid Roll Fantasy Roll Dragon Roll Matcha Ice Cream We will definitely be coming back
